Chinwe was Okaihee’s village Greencloak. She appeared in Wild Born and gave Abeke the Nectar of Ninani.

Appearance[]

In Wild Born, as she gave Abeke the Nectar, Chinwe had her green cloak, which she only brought out for Nectar Ceremonies, casually draped over one shoulder.[1]

Abeke also mentioned Chinwe had thin, bare legs with the tattoo of her wildebeest visible on one.[2]

In the Books[]

Wild Born[]

Chinwe gave Abeke the Nectar. She starts chanting traditional words, though no one truly knew what they meant. She also gave Abeke the Nectar and was described to look bored. After Abeke summons Uraza, she begins smiling, which was a rare sight from her. She announces that Abeke is the village’s next Rain Dancer.

Fire and Ice[]

Abeke mentions that Chinwe carved gazelle-antler puzzles.

Rise and Fall[]

As Conor, Rollan, and Tarik enter Okaihee, Irtike is the first one to inform them that Chinwe had died in a Conqueror invasion. Pojalo tells them later and is upset to hear Irtike told them already.
