Xin Kao Dai is an important Zhongese harbor, and is mentioned several times throughout the series. The main group stayed here temporarily in Blood Ties, and it was a major location in The Dragon's Eye. Raisha and Dorell were also sailing to Xin Kao Dai in Tales of the Fallen Beasts. It is mentioned by Takoda that The Dragon's Eye was located there.
Along with being a harbor and trade port, it's also home to the Emperor of Zhong's Summer Palace. It was named after a legendary Zhongese hero.
